About RiemensFRP

In 2016 Sjaak Riemens established RiemensFRP, a company specialized in the inspection and consultancy of FRP and other plastics.

Sjaak Riemens started in 1981 to work as a mechanical engineer in the chemical industry, mainly in the production of phosphor, phosphoric acid and phosphates. In these process plants for phosphoric acid a lot of FRP piping and vessels are used. This was his first acquaintance with FRP.

In 1987 Sjaak Riemens switched jobs and became technical manager with a company that was specialized in the design, fabrication and installation of FRP piping, vessels and equipment.

Between 1990 and 2016 Sjaak worked at Engiplast bv and gained a lot of experience in the engineering and inspection of FRP piping, vessels and equipment but also in the engineering of (stainless) steel and plastic piping and process equipment.
